The 2025 Annual Conference of the Hubei Province Systems Engineering Society was successfully held in Wuhan on December 21, 2025. The conference was hosted by the Hubei Province Systems Engineering Society and co-organized by the School of Mathematics and Systems Science and the School of Management at Wuhan University of Science and Technology, alongside the Hubei Key Laboratory of Metallurgical Industrial Process System Science.
The event facilitated in-depth discussions on cutting-edge achievements, development trends, and current challenges in the fields of systems engineering and generative artificial intelligence. Through a combination of invited keynote speeches and parallel sessions, the conference aimed to build a platform for scholars in related disciplines to exchange ideas and explore research directions and development pathways in an era of transformative change.
Professor Wu Jinhong, Dean of the School of Management, Professor Xia Huosong, and Professor Yu Niu were invited to attend the conference. Dr. Mei Qihuang from the school, along with graduate students Zhang Jiayao and Deng Tongjie, delivered academic presentations in their respective parallel sessions.

In the afternoon parallel sessions, Professor Yu Niu chaired the forum on "Intelligent Logistics and Scheduling Optimization." Dr. Mei Qihuang from the Department of Logistics Engineering and Management presented his paper, "When Does It Pay to Adopt? Equilibrium Strategies for Autonomous Vehicle Introduction under Platform Competition,"in the "Platform Market Design and Pricing Mechanisms" forum. In other related sessions, graduate students Zhang Jiayao and Deng Tongjie presented their research papers "Research on Manufacturers' Blockchain Adoption Strategies Considering Consumer Privacy Concerns"and "A Deep Reinforcement Learning Decision Model for Partially Private Products with Fractal Cold Start,"respectively. Their work received positive feedback from attending experts and peers. Notably, Ms. Deng Tongjie was awarded the Outstanding Presentation Paper Award.

This academic exchange provided faculty and students from the School of Management with ample opportunity for dialogue with scholars from peer institutions, broadening their research perspectives and inspiring new ideas, thereby laying a solid foundation for future in-depth research.
