
Prof. Yu Niu holds a Ph.D. and serves as a Professor and Master’s Supervisor. He is the head of the "Fashion Supply Chain and Smart Logistics Research Center" at the School of Management, Wuhan Textile University. He has been selected into the “Hubei Chutian Scholars Program” and was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, USA. In June 2016, he graduated from the School of Management at Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering. In the same year, he joined the School of Management at Wuhan Textile University, where he has been engaged in teaching and research.
His research interests include operations management, logistics and supply chain management, behavioral operations management, and e-commerce. He has led two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, and his academic work has been published in renowned domestic and international journals such as Naval Research Logistics, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Management Sciences in China, and Systems Engineering – Theory & Practice. He primarily teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, including Supply Chain Management, Modern Warehouse Management and Practice, Forecasting and Decision Making, and Decision Theory and Methods.
