Prof. Zou possesses extensive international academic experience, having served as a visiting scholar at two overseas universities the University of Gloucestershire Business School in the United Kingdom (September 2018---August 2019) and the University of California, Riverside's School of Management in the United States (November 2009---December 2012).

Prof. Zou has been actively involved in teaching and supervising international students. So far Prof. Zou has supervised the thesis work of one graduate student from Russia, four from Pakistan, three from Ghana, and one from Zimbabwe. Two international students are currently preparing for their thesis defense. One graduate have been working in Guangzhou,and another graduate is studying as PH.D.candiate in Nanjing,China.

Prof. Zou has led or participated in over twenty provincial, ministerial, and municipal-level research projects, as well as nearly 20 industry-commissioned (corporate) projects.And has published more than 30 papers in top academic journals and has published two academic works.
