On September 6, the cultural experience activity themed "Look to the Moon and Embrace the Prosperity of China and Foreign Countries" and the Chinese Foreign Teachers and Students Association, sponsored by the International Division of the University, the International College, and the Chinese Foreign People's Exchange Institute in the textile industry, and co organized by the Chinese Foreign People's Exchange Association and the Silk Road Flower Rain Association, was held in the International Exchange Center. More than 40 Chinese and foreign teachers and students from eight countries, including China, Morocco, Zimbabwe, and Bangladesh, gathered together to enjoy traditional culture, Talk about reunion.



At the beginning of the activity, Lin Li, secretary of the International Department, the Party branch directly under the International College, and the vice president of the Institute of Chinese Foreign People's Exchanges in the textile industry, delivered a speech. She said that the Mid Autumn Festival is a traditional festival of the Chinese nation, which symbolizes the harmony and completeness of people and conveys the friendship between relatives and friends. On the occasion of the Mid Autumn Festival, this activity is held here. First, it provides a platform for everyone to experience the characteristics and charm of China's excellent traditional culture; Second, we hope that Chinese and foreign teachers and students can conduct friendly exchanges in the activities, share different cultures and life experiences, so as to learn from each other and deepen understanding and friendship; Third, we hope that Chinese and foreign students can work together and help each other in the post epidemic era, and cherish their study time in the textile university family. Everyone should have the courage to accept different cultures and civilizations with an open mind, be good at learning scientific and cultural knowledge from an international perspective, and make efforts to promote the construction of a "community with a shared future for mankind". At last, she shared with all the teachers and students the poem "Watching the Moon and Remembering the Far Away" written by Zhang Jiuling, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, as well as the myths and legends of Chang'e flying to the moon and Hou Yi shooting the sun.



During the activity, under the joint guidance of Chinese teachers and students, international students experienced excellent traditional Chinese culture such as lantern making, calligraphy, and riddle guessing. Later, we all learned and read the ancient famous lines from the famous poet Su Shi of the Song Dynasty, "The Water Melody? When is the Moon?". Joseph from Morocco sighed that the Chinese culture has a long history and is broad and profound, which is worth exploring and learning all his life. The development model and the concept of globalization governance in China today all demonstrate the Chinese people's traditional cultural concept of advocating elegance, loving peace and seeking great harmony for thousands of years.


According to Ji Chen, director of the International Division and dean of the International College, and Yi Hui, vice dean of the International College. As China gradually moves towards the center of the world stage and plays an increasingly important role, the university will always closely integrate the training of overseas students in China with the national foreign initiatives, and deeply cultivate the international talent training model of "knowing, friendship, love and help China". In the training process, we carefully designed the curriculum and activity content, and integrated more excellent traditional Chinese culture and contemporary Chinese style development stories into students' learning and practice in an all-round and three-dimensional way. At the same time, under the guidance of Chinese and foreign people to people and cultural exchanges, we will continue to create a platform for Chinese and foreign teachers and students to exchange, learn from each other, and cooperate in learning. We will participate in building an education system for cross-cultural communication and international understanding, and continue to write a new chapter of progress to guide more international teachers and students to perceive a comprehensive, three-dimensional, and true image of China and promote high-quality education in the new era and opening up to the outside world.
