On the morning of June 18th, a delegation from Thammasat University in Thailand, including Dr. Thitinan Chankoson (Chinese name: Zhu Zhanghai), visited our institution for exchange and research discussions regarding cooperation in the field of international management. The exchange took place in Conference Room 536 of Building 7, with Wu Jinhong, Dean of the School of Management, presiding over the meeting. Vice Deans Wu Jinfeng and Zhang Fei also attended the meeting.
Wu Jinhong warmly welcomed the arrival of Thitinan Chankoson and his delegation. He expressed that China and Thailand have a friendly and deep-rooted relationship. He then introduced the basic situation and academic achievements of the School, focusing on international management programs and international cooperation and exchanges. Wu hoped to strengthen communication and cooperation in the field of international management and joint educational programs with Thai universities, while mutually learning from each other's teaching experiences to promote friendly exchanges between the two regions.
During the meeting, both parties had in-depth discussions on collaborative projects of mutual interest and exchanged views on topics such as graduate and doctoral student training and joint educational programs. Finally, both parties agreed to maintain close communication and continue project consultations.
Thitinan Chankoson expressed gratitude for the warm reception at our university, stating that Wuhan Textile University left a positive impression on him. He expressed a desire to continuously strengthen communication and cooperation in future exchanges and work, promoting the development of education for both sides.
